A Pearly Gates Life Review

For We Shall All Stand Before The Judgment Seat Of Christ”

Rom 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

(Scriptures for footnotes are at the end.)

Well here I am. At the pearly gates of Heaven. My 86 years of life on earth went pretty fast. The line is long but its moving right along! Funny though how I don’t pick up on the concept of time up here….

I am quite nervous about all this…. The fear of hell, the peace of heaven, what’s in store for me….

Looking back there is so much to reflect on. The balance seems to be pretty even between the good and the not so good. Trying to sort through my past truly is an undertaking.

This will be an interesting conversation to say the least. I am already working up a good sweat! Having mixed feelings about this is an understatement! Oh oh, here goes nothing, its my turn!

—————————-

1) JESUS: Come about my son and take a seat. We have a few things to go over. You look nervous. Rest assured, there is nothing for you to fear.

This interview may take some time so just relax and we will sort through your life and establish a new direction in your future eternal path.

ME: Yes, Thank you, I am nervous but I have this overwhelming feeling of warmth, love and bliss! I have lost all concept of time. The feeling is very strange.

I was hoping that this day would be a good day. Been wondering about that off and on most of my life.

—————————–

2) JESUS: Your overwhelmed at the moment which is totally understandable. You can recall every second of your life on earth. Your feelings right now are in a challenging place. Your thoughts between your good and evil challenges. Your life’s battles that you’ve have between the two, and the wonder about your future.

ME: Seeing my whole life before me in this moment and comprehending every second of my life. I realize I have had little understanding and had plenty of misunderstanding throughout in my life.

I realize my beliefs were formulated by myself based upon what I was taught or have come to my own conclusion. Then I think about my church and the teachings. I am not sure I really learned much past salvation and baptism within traditions of the church in my younger years. I often wondered about the scripture that says “feed my sheep” (1) and its meaning. I had to search deeper into my wanting more understanding and therefore I was led to a deeper understanding along the way. Sure did seem like there was enough confusion I must say.

—————————-

3) JESUS: The Word as you see it is taken in the context of your understanding. Most people read the Word in a literal sense and try to make application from their mind and heart.

Because the Word is alive, (2) each individual is in his own stage of growth in returning back to their created spirit. (3) The Word was carefully put together for everyone in any time and/or circumstance to understand the truths how it is seen through ones’ mind in this flesh. Your Father works within your particular souls conscience. That might help to explain some of the confusion you have. Each soul is his own.

A soul that has grown from understanding the literal meaning to a spiritual meaning simply has a different depth on what is being said and has a greater understanding on how to live in the world but yet be apart from it. (4) What may be truth to one, may not be to another.

ME: That certainly would have folks put aside their differences knowing we are all in different places and thought processes. I have not been the best at that for sure.

I’m still thinking I am in trouble. I have always had that “fear” of God. What will happen to me now?

—————————–

4) JESUS: Ahhh…..your expecting “judgement” from me and the “fear” has overtaken your mind. You don’t know which way this is going to go….. You look as nervous as you did the day you got married!

ME: I am not sure what to think to be honest with you, I can’t get over this overwhelming feeling of love, peace, and bliss about me even though my heart is a bit of a mess right now for sure…. The judgement is very much on my mind at the moment.

——————————

5) JESUS: The fear of judgement. This overwhelms everyone. You can relax, for in this life you just finished, judgement has already passed. Your judgement came about as you lived your life. These judgements, as our Father knew you from the beginning,(5) were judgements related to decisions you have made prior to you making them. Then as your Father made his judgements, are based upon knowing what you would do before you did it! Then we can add; For if you have judged yourself, (6) why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? (7) Furthermore, for if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. Judge not, that ye be not judged. (8)

ME: I believe my ego had a lot to do with judgement of other people and actions. After all, it was a natural thing to do. A false protection? Not realizing until late in life that my ego was in control of my mind and had blocked my ability to not only have faith, but trust in God. I have judged nearly everything in my life in some way. Judgement was coming from me when actually I had little or no knowledge knowing another ones’ life path and where they were at. Never gave it a thought as to knowing another persons past, present, or future. I can just about imagine how much judgement was directed towards me throughout my life by others! I have learned there is a difference between my mind-ego and my true self. It took a long time to see that my mind-ego interfered with who I truly am and who is in control.

Without opinions on people or situations, I have been living a peaceful life. I wished I had learned that long ago. I had judgement or negative thoughts about something or someone and got irritated over it and for what? I compounded the whole matter deeper into my mind in the present and the future. Sure didn’t make me feel any better!

——————————-

6) JESUS: You have come to realized some deep thinking here. Your true self was created in perfection! (9)

Our Father created all of Creation from within Himself. Therefore, as Scripture notes in countless verses that our Father, myself, the Holy Spirit, and the Kingdom is all within you and you within it. (10)

Here again, you have known God from the beginning and the Word of God abideth in you. (11) You were created complete but having to live lives through experiences and the freedom to learn how to live a life in love from which you were created.

Why have you separated or created a distance from what God has created from within Himself? Would God separate Himself from Himself? (12) Why would He create a soul from Himself and in love only to mislead his path?

Who really created this distance?

You have had not only the WORD for truths but the whole earths resources to learn and grow in knowledge and wisdom. All you needed to do is trust that you Father is working through every means possible for your success without interference within your freewill.

ME: I wondered about that. How is my life of 86 years on earth have justification of death or hell for eternity when in the absence of time, it’s not even a moment of an eternal existence. I would guess that thinking we only have this one life to get it right is a pretty dumb summarization. My thinking was not in the full scope of an eternal life but just this one life.

—————————

7) JESUS: Think for a moment…. The Word, which by scripture is our Father and our Father is pure love and life. (13) The Word written in your souls…..in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (14) For each soul to live within their understanding in their current state of their own awareness.

Was not your creation in the image and likeness of God? (15)

ME: Yes, I remember reading it but really didn’t fully understand it, and that is about as far as it went. I didn’t understand the depth of the meaning because there was not much depth in my search for a deeper understanding.

—————————-

8) JESUS: Your depth of searching was less then desirable. Your soul as you were created has these truths of life. You needed only to access it. Again, would you think that your Father would create a soul that is incomplete or one that has flaws?

When you were birthed into the flesh a few changes took place. Your flesh self took on the status of a god spoken in Genesis. (16) You create from your conscience and implement at will these thoughts into actions at your command. When our Father had said you can not serve two gods (17) what did you think it meant?

Were you thinking of another god other than yourself?

I came down to this earth to be the example and teach for all to learn about life and love. The two greatest commandments (18) sums up life itself.

Our Fathers’ reasoning is so that you have the choice by freewill to live your life as you wish. This freedom allows you to do whatever your conscious mind desires, good or evil. To experience the growth in life through freedom. A life growing to higher loves which are heavens within.

That raises another thought I know you have not thought through. If you have done your research and not trusted other “men” for your personal beliefs, you would come to understand that evil or sin is no more then as Paul stated, missing the mark. (19) Sin and evil is simply making a mistake.

Your earthly life is balance between these too. The distance comes from you and your choice in how far do you want to be from God, myself, Holy Spirit, and heaven.

Mistakes can not be avoided in the flesh but serve the purpose just as well as the goodness you were created. You had to have been created in this goodness or you would not realize that evil or sin is not a good thing. One chooses to sin or do evil because of the love for it. Sin, evil which are errors and mistakes can be corrected. Through correction, you are closing the gap, distance, or separation you put between yourself and God.

ME: I never looked at it in that way. I always put a level on sin. I realize as I have looked at others in judgement and have accused them not thinking that I have done these sins myself at some time, or quite possibly I have not committed. Then there is sin by someone else that in some way directly affected me and I threw it right back at them. No real gain, just a satisfying of the ego.

—————————

9) JESUS: Who are you hurting or affecting in judgement of others? (20) There is no purpose or reason when you are in truths and understanding through faith and trust in God.

Again, who knows but our Father where a soul is in his present eternal life and in their progression and understanding to a greater love in life?

Your ego is opposition of Holy Spirit. How is it your mind-ego knows the future by basing events from the past? Your thinking should be in the present time and living without the negativity and judgement.

ME: I wondered about that many times. I have presumed something from the past and the thought was not correct. I was totally wrong in my assumption and I never realized my ego was responsible for my “so called” security where my security should have been with the Holy Spirit and the trust in Gods Plan.

—————————-

10) JESUS: Have you not remembered when I said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do? (21) Wouldn’t that scripture apply to everyone?

11) JESUS: I also see you have harbored some bitterness from your past and have had a hard time with forgiveness. Have you found bringing the past to light in your present has no benefit having peace in your heart?

ME: There definitely is quite a few incidents where I have been cheated, stolen from, misled over a long period of time. I have tried to let these things go but when they come about in my mind I get irritated and retaliate in my mind. Forgiveness was not an option.

If I would have not focused on the past and just let the negatives go, not only would the thoughts not grow deeper, but would have simply been put out of mind. I wonder if bring those instances to light was brought about by my ego.

I didn’t think not only did incidents bring negativity, but I had compounded it by dragging it into the present, and my feelings were drawn down even further by living those negatives the present.

—————————

12) JESUS: True, when is any negative action or thought have any possibility moving forward in a positive direction? Have I not said, not render evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing, knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing? (22)

ME: Having never really thinking that through, it reminds me the old saying, “two wrongs don’t make a right”. To think that negative things in our life are actually positive or that the purpose is justified does make it easier to understand the overall purpose.

—————————–

13) JESUS: Exactly. When a soul realizes that in Creation and our Father said it was finished, is it not finished? God knowing every action and thought in all His Creation, His adjustments are already in place.

Knowing this and the plan of salvation or better said “eternal life.” Why do you not trust and understand that the good and error (or evil as you see it), serve the same purpose and should have the same trust?

I like to use the analogy in this manner. How many have come to God or myself that have found blessings through accidents, health situations, sins, evils committed by you or to you? How many souls have come to God or myself when they won the lottery? You can see the purpose and how much good comes from the negative part of life’s plan.

ME: Now I am thinking was I lazy or ignorant in searching for truth, wisdom, and understanding.

——————————

14) JESUS: Many answers to these questions are right in front of you and you have no eyes to see and ears to hear? (23) Have you thought your Father confounded your life so that your understanding is blind? (24) Would He raise a chicken to become a duck and then send the duck out to hunt a lion?

As you stand before me, seeing now your complete life, are you able to place any blame to anyone other than yourself for your thoughts or actions while you were on earth?

ME: No, I had never entertained that thought. So I am the only one responsible for my actions, I can’t say, “the devil made me do it” or why didn’t God do this or do that or why did God do this or do that….. I understand now why I am the only one accountable for my own thoughts and actions.

—————————–

15) JESUS: Lets get back to this fear of God you have? This fear you are speaking of is in being afraid? This is a good example of translation and the understanding behind it. Fear is not in the frightening of, but to revere, be in reverence or awe of God.

You certainly don’t think that your loving Father wishes to instill fear into you do you? The fear to drive one to do something that you want or do not want to do? Would that not have a direct affect on your freewill and this fear be a scare tactic?

Isn’t the point of your life is to want to freely love God?

ME: Actually I never dug deeper or did any research on my own to figure some of this out. It sure does make sense and I wished I had done more on my own to clarify my thinking on so many things that I have read. It does make sense to apply reason in my thinking.

——————————

16) JESUS: From your creation in perfection and all knowledge, (25) your birthing into the flesh, lets just say from the Adam and Eve beginning, you learn, grow, and experience life and carry knowledge from experiences with you to keep you in the freewill and with Our guidance, urge you on from the goodness standpoint.

God would not interfere with your own conscience.

What is having the knowledge of life without experience? To think for example, from your perfectly created soul you have the knowledge of a drivers ed book and is able to ace the test. Now you know how to drive but have yet to actually get behind the wheel to apply your new knowledge. Life experience is behind the wheel.

Granted, there are forces at work that belong to the dark side if you will, but what advantage is there for a soul that our Father creates, loves, and wishes nothing but the growth of love, wisdom, understanding and experiences have any interference upon your soul?

ME: It simply boils down all souls were created souls with the consciousness of individuality and through living life experiences from the first day, building on the eternal path right back to our true created self.

—————————–

17) JESUS: Now your getting it! Now the focus should be on and in love, how can a soul think there is condemnation or death when many times the Word states the promise of eternal and everlasting life. (26)

ME: All I can say is when thoughts are in fear, negativity, and without understanding, the word confusion (27) comes to mind.

—————————–

18) JESUS: Confusion is a state that comes from Satan. Although Satan is a representation, Satan is seen as his own entities and separate from within. God works within the realms of each individual soul. Ultimately one is responsible for his own evils as you came to that understanding.

—————————–

19) JESUS: So tell me what you think. What is next for you?

ME: My next life, however God sets it up for me is a continuance of my previous life and lives in many ways. The love and experiences growing in wisdom and knowledge along the way I believe I will carry with me in my progression to a deeper love. Experiences in overcoming mistakes while I walk the path of eternity with you.

19) JESUS: I think you have learned more in this meeting than you have in your 86 years on earth. Having this new awareness through love and not allowing the ego to direct your heart is a constant battle but all will overcome in their “time”. Because of the promise, all will see and belong to the kingdom of heaven. (28)

Life is the consciousness of God that flows through every cell in His Creation. Since God is love and life, when you remove the opposing forces of love from your life through your life experiences your spirit is on the path back to your true self and your eternal life grows into a closer relationship with and in God, and all of Creation. You will be taking with you life experiences that grew into wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and love on the path of eternity.

How many different ways does God work within His Created souls?

As many ways as there as souls…

(1) “feed my sheep”

John 21:15-17

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Heb 5:12-14 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

See also; John 21:15:16, Isa 28:9

Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

(2) “word is alive”

John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

If the Word is God and God is alive it is safe to assume the Word is alive.

Your created self or your soul was created in perfection. God’s creation was all good as mentioned in Genesis 1:31

Deu 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Other scriptures would include; 2 Sa 22:31, Isa 30:18, Psa 19:7, Psa 138:8, Mat 5:48

Perfect (heart) is mentioned numerous times.

The definition of perfect in the Greek is; G5046 τέλειος teleios From G5056; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with G3588) completeness: – of full age, man, perfect. G5056 τέλος telos From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): Compare G5411.

Perfection is complete in the applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character for the purpose and ultimate conclusion back to the created self. Born into the flesh assumes the roll of imperfection and by way of freedom in growing back to your created self through experiences.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Pro 8:21-30 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

(6) 1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

(7) Luke 12:57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

(8) Mat 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

John 17:23-24 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

If little children are in the kingdom here on earth, how can it not be you can have the kingdom within you as an adult right now?

How about the poor?

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

NOTE: a new man, which is RENEWED in knowledge.

G341 ἀνακαινόω anakainoō From G303 and a derivative of G2537; to renovate:renew. G303 ἀνά ana an-ah’ A primary preposition and adverb; properly up; but (by extension) used (distributively) severally, or (locally) at (etc.): – and, apiece, by, each, every (man), in, through. In compounds (as a prefix) it often means (by implication) repetition, intensity, reversal, etc. G2537 καινός kainos Of uncertain affinity; new (especially in freshness; while G3501 is properly so with respect to age): – new.

To renovate is to renew something. Therefore, a man’s knowledge of the Word was prior to birthing to the flesh.

(16) of a god spoken in Genesis

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon in the Greek text; G3126 μαμμωνᾶς mammōnas Of Chaldee origin (confidence, that is, figuratively wealth, personified); mammonas, that is, avarice (deified): – mammon.

Mammon is in reference to wealth. Therefore, the god spoken of is oneself and not another spirit. When you understand that you are a god on this earth, you are serving yourself. In the case of wealth, money being a god or idol.

(18) the two greatest commandments

Mat 22:36-39 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

(19) missing the mark.

Sin in the Greek text is; G266 ἁμαρτία hamartia From G264; sin (properly abstract): – offence, sin (-ful). G264 ἁμαρτάνω hamartanō Perhaps from G1 (as a negative particle) and the base of G3313; properly to miss the mark (and so not share in the prize), that is, (figuratively) to err, especially (morally) to sin:for your faults, offend, sin, trespass. G1 Α A al’-fah Of Hebrew origin; the first letter of the alphabet: figuratively only (from its use as a numeral) the first. Often used (usually “an”, before a vowel) also in composition (as a contraction from G427) in the sense of privation; so in many words beginning with this letter; occasionally in the sense of union (as a contraction of G260): – Alpha. G3313 μέρος meros mer’-os From an obsolete but more primary form of μείρομαι meiromai (to get as a section or allotment); a division or share (literally or figuratively, in a wide application).

Summarizing; Sin is no more then missing the mark. To err. A division. To share in the prize.

1Co 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

(20) Judgment of others

Mat 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

John 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

Rom 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Jas 4:11-12 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

1Co 4:4-5 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

(21) they know not what they do.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

(22) ye should inherit a blessing.

1Pe 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Inherit also includes;

Inherit the earth (Mat 5:5)

Inherit everlasting life (Mat 19.29)

Inherit the kingdom (Mat 25:34)

Inherit the promises (Heb 6:12)

Inherit all things (Rev 21:7)

(23) eyes to see and ears to hear?

Deu 29:4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Eze 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

Also See; (Mat 11:15, Mat 13:9, Mat 13:13-14, Mat 13:43, Luke 8:8)

(24) understanding is blind?

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Jer 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

(25) perfection and all knowledge

Gen 1:25-26a And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

2Co 13:9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Eph 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

1Jn 2:24-25 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1Jn 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

John 17:21-24 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

1Ti 6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

1Jn 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

For those that believe in everlasting punishment, (Mat 25:46) for an example lets look at the Greek and clarify this.

Everlasting (life) Note; The same word in the Greek text is eternal.

Everlasting;

G166 αἰώνιος aiōnios From G165; perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well): – eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began). G165 αἰών aiōn ahee-ohn’ From the same as G104; properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future): – age, course, eternal, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550. G104 ἀεί aei ah-eye’ From an obsolete primary noun (apparently meaning continued duration); “ever”; by qualification regularly; by implication earnestly: – always, ever. G5550 χρόνος chronos Of uncertain derivation; a space of time (in genitive case, and thus properly distinguished from G2540, which designates a fixed or special occasion; and from G165, which denotes a particular period) or interval; by extension an individual opportunity; by implication delay: – + years old, season, space. G2540 καιρός kairos Of uncertain affinity; an occasion, that is, set or proper time: – X always, opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while) time, a while.

A soul has eternal life and eternal death is not possible. Since eternal death has no affect on the soul, death can only be taken in the sense of the flesh and in the world. The definitions around the word eternal and everlasting can be applied to “ever” as well as “a space in time.”

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

To further look at this the Hebrew original text gives this a bit of a different light.

Pro 11:4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

H4480 min minnı̂y For H4482; properly a part of; hence (prepositionally), from or out of in many senses: – above, after, among, at, because of, by (reason of), from (among), in, X neither, X nor, (out) of, over, since, X then, through, X whether, with. H4482 מֵן mên From an unused rot meaning to apportion; a part; hence a musical chord (as parted into strings): – in [the same] (Psa. H68 : H23), stringed instrument (Psa. H150 : H4), whereby (Psa. H45 : H8 [defective plural]). H4194 מָוֶת mâveth From H4191; death (natural or violent); concretely the dead, their place or state (hades); figuratively pestilence, ruin: – (be) dead ([-ly]), death, die (-d). H4191 מוּת mûth A primitive root; to die (literally or figuratively); causatively to kill: – (be) dead (body, man, one), (put to, worthy of) death.

Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Pro 11:19 As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

Death in the Hebrew; H4194 מָוֶת mâveth H4194 From H4191; death (natural or violent); concretely the dead, their place or state (hades); figuratively pestilence, ruin. From H4191; death (natural or violent); concretely the dead, their place or state (hades); figuratively pestilence, ruin. H4191 מוּת mûth A primitive root; to die (literally or figuratively); causatively to kill.

Rom 8:5-11 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Rom 6:3-14 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(27) the word confusion

1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

(28) kingdom of heaven

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Promise in the Greek text; G1860 ἐπαγγελία epaggelia From G1861; an announcement (for information, assent or pledge; especially a divine assurance of good): – message, promise. G1861 ἐπαγγέλλω epaggellō From G1909 and the base of G32; to announce upon (reflexively), that is, (by implication) to engage to do something, to assert something respecting oneself: – profess, (make) promise.

1John 2:24-25 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1Jn 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
