A Worldly Example Of Faith

A Worldly Example Of Faith

Your one day hoping to win the lottery. You have been buying tickets it seems like for years.

You finally get the notion to buy a ticket with your own heart felt numbers that you feel like they are your lucky numbers.

You have been buying this ticket in monthly blocks so there is 1 trip to the store on a monthly basis.

You really don’t pay much attention to the amount of money from pick to pick until you see the pot building up to an ungodly amount of money.

You have your “faith” in your numbers, but because the pot is so huge and you get the feeling it’s gonna hit and your already planning on what to do with all that money!

So your driving past the store that you go to once a month and stop and purchase $30 worth of quick pick tickets.

Why?

Do you not have any faith in the numbers you picked that in your mind are the winning numbers?

Does the bigger dollar amount justify purchasing more tickets?

Think for a moment. Your new ticket purchase just caused a lack or lost faith in your winning numbers.

2Co 13:5

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Whether it be worldly and the lack of faith in one’s self, or the lack of faith in God from the spiritual perspective.

The tendency is to allow the mind-ego of the world to preside over the godly spiritual self.

Deep thought, examination of that faith does not come from the flesh.
