Emotions, feelings, ego, and fear are the creation of the flesh and are lived through the flesh mind, having awareness through consciousness.
Thus creating the appearance of separation from God and your neighbor. Creation itself is One. Living from the “me first, or me only mindset”, is lacking the trust in God and living from oneself, not from your spiritual self.
The purpose of life-lives in a flesh existence is to experience all of the above, and overcome those challenges.
From your spiritual self, all you have is the knowledge of those flesh perspectives. Like when you see a roller coaster, imagine what it is like to ride on it, but without employing it through those physical senses, there is no real understanding or reality unless it is experienced. Nothing learned.
The purpose is to have flesh life experiences. Overcome the shortcomings from the flesh senses. Judgement from your higher self; yes judgement from yourself, the God in you. Enabling the soul to overcome the shortcomings of the flesh life.
This also includes how you experience and understand your sin-evils which are no more than negativities throughout your experiences. Negativity has purpose, and your true spirit has that understanding, the flesh does not.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Life is religion, life is worship and reverence to our Lord. Overcoming the flesh is living a life with and in love with Creation. Always a work in progress that is growing closer to heaven (within). The eternal life-lives of the soul.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Perfection, which is your true self as scriptures show, having the spirit of God within, is able to compare spiritual truths from that wisdom and see those truths work within the world and understands them. This is hidden wisdom which can only be seen from the inner spiritual self.
Spiritually discerned from the Greek is to distinguish, to decide mentally, investigating, scrutinizing, to determine from your spiritual self in the understanding-perception of the world.
G4151 Greek: πνευματικός Non-carnal that is (humanly) ethereal (as opposed to gross) or (daemoniacally) a spirit (concretely) or (divinely) supernatural regenerate religious : – spiritual.
Your life should flow from your perfectly created spiritual soul with the controlled -awareness of all thoughts and actions into the world. Your life should flow from your heart-soul and not from your ego-mind.
You are not living from a flesh body into a spiritual being………or are you?
That being said; The spiritual world can not in any way flow from the flesh world into the spiritual world.
When the flesh dominates the spirit, life becomes challenging because the spirit is love-God and dominates the soul when allowed too. By way of awareness, the flesh is recognized as weak and the focus on life is through love and not mind-ego.
When the soul operates from the ego-flesh-world all aspects of life becomes defensive.
Regenerate is reformation or religiously reborn according to the Greek Concordance and divinely supernatural.
This study does not include salvation and baptism from Scriptures and the relationship to Jesus.
Are you a “Jesus”?
1John 2:5-6 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Mark 8:31-34 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
(See Also; Mat 16:24, Mark 10:21, Mat 10:38, Rom 6:6, Gal 2:20)
Point being, Jesus told Peter he was a Satan. Again, a representation of evil or an evil act. Second point being, Jesus himself, called an apostle a Satan, simply rebuking Jesus because of Peters thoughts for things that be of men?
Reference to sin-evil is no more than committing an error, making a mistake, missing the mark. Doesn’t this reference seem to apply more to Peters thoughts are no more than missing the mark?
Savourest from the Greek means to exercise the mind, that is, entertain or have sentiment or opinion, (that be of men).
Jesus is stating that not only the son of man must suffer many things, but he states that humankind should deny themselves, and take up their cross to follow me. Taking up your cross daily.
Follow (me) from the Greek from Mark 8:34 is;
G190 ἀκολουθέω From G1 (as a particle of union) and κέλευθος (a road); properly to be in the same way with, that is, to accompany (specifically as a disciple).
Miracles and the Created Soul
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
(See Also; Mat 21:21)
1John 3:1-2 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
These verses state that a man can do miracles like Jesus, provided God be with him.
Jesus forsaken by His Father?
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Forsaken from the Greek;
G1459 ἐγκαταλείπω From G1722 and G2641; to leave behind in some place, that is, (in a good sense) let remain over, or (in a bad one) to desert: – forsake, leave.
Mark 14:34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
“tarry ye here” from the forsaken definition in the “good sense” in that Jesus remains on this earth within every soul.
Sorrowful from the Greek;
G4036 περίλυπος From G4012 and G3077; grieved all around, that is, intensely sad: – exceeding (very) sorry.
How can it be that Jesus himself feels that God has forsaken him? Jesus then states that he is exceedingly sorrowful unto death.
This simple understanding is that Jesus was born into the flesh as a flesh being, with all the attributes that all created souls birthed into the flesh experiences.
Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
To be as his master is to be Christ-like. That being said, why is there an appearance of separation between humankind and Christ in understanding that we are to be as He is? He had to teach humankind how to act and how to see. (If you have eyes to see and ears to hear.)
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Because humankind is or can be as Jesus, John 15:20 is stating that there should be a consistent awareness of not being greater than Jesus. Exactly what Satan as a soul failed to do.
Does Jesus have to judge?
John 8:15-16 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Luke 6:37-40 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
(See Also; Mat 7:1-2)
Jesus is stating that souls ultimately judge themselves.
Scripture states God’s Creation is finished. Judgement was done at creation. Since God knew you from the beginning, and knows your eternity, if there was any judgement, it was prior to your freewill. Freewill begins from the forming of the flesh, to allow souls to live as they wish in their eternity. To live without any interference because “it is finished.” (Gen 2:1)
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Condemn the sin, not the sinner.
John 8:10-11 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Condemn from the Greek;
G2632 κατακρίνω From G2596 and G2919; to judge against, that is, sentence: – condemn, damn. G2919 κρίνω Properly to distinguish, that is, decide (mentally or judicially); by implication to try, condemn, punish: – avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.
Condemning is to judge against. Judging oneself is understanding and learning from errors and mistakes. Progressing in the avoidance of negative repetitive natures.
ALL flesh is corrupt until the “old man” is renewed.
Eph 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Gen 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
John 2:14-16 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
Interesting how Jesus did something where in this day in age, Jesus would have been led to jail. A hard pill to swallow is in that Jesus as a man, was a man, acted like a man, but He knew His higher self, and the love He had for souls and the understanding of how to access His higher self or inner self to overcome, with some struggles, showed by example, the closeness souls have to Jesus.
Mark 6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Jesus tempted;
Mat 4:1-11 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Satan, (as an individual soul), seemed to think he could tempt Jesus. Satan knowing who he is, Satan also knew the flesh is weak and made the attempt to get Jesus to worship him.
Summarizing;
Jesus being God in the flesh, lived in the flesh and had no advantage over any created soul. Jesus simply understood who he was from His awareness of his true spiritual self and knowing the powers that the spirit-soul itself has, and learning how to overcome the flesh.
3) Spiritual representations of scriptures. (understanding parables)
4) Developing a oneness with Creation. (Gen 34:16)
5) Seeing the world in growing experiences from love. (Eph 3:17)
6) Time works with understanding, slowly dissolving. (Mark 10:30, 1Ti 6:19)
7) Awareness, focus on the neighbor-one accord. (Rom 13:10, Rom 15:6, Acts 2:46-47)
8) Heavenly living in the present. (1Co 15:48-49)
9) Pure truth. (Psalms 85:11, 2Co 13:8, 1Peter 3:4)
Living Scriptures from the Celestial aspect:
1) Peace, joy, bliss, harmony. (John 14:27, Isa 12:3)
2) Love, at this level, is Creation becoming one. Love is life itself, (liken to not having to think to breathe), The Glory of Heaven. (Job 38:7 Psalms 148:3, Acts 26:19)
Man has a progression of 3 estates from birth to death (pertaining to salvation). The estates are;
Damnation
To be reformed, a reformation
To be regenerated, a regeneration
A man’s estate (condition of existence), is the degree and quality of his standing in relationship to his love and obedience towards God and ultimately leading to salvation at death of the flesh.
A man’s first estate of damnation
1Ti 5:12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
Damnation in the Greek Text; G2917 κρίμα From G2919; a decision (the function or the effect, for or against [“crime”]). G2919 κρίνω Properly to distinguish, that is, decide (mentally or judicially); by implication to try, condemn, punish.
Summarizing;
Having damnation is having the option to properly distinguish and decide a for or against position, in the mind. The first faith is faith you inherited from creation.
We can see in this next verse that resistance, or making the wrong decision receives damnation.
Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
(Damnation in NT verses; Mat 23:14, Mat 23:33, Mark 3:29, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47; John 5:29, Rom 3:8, 1Co 11:29, 2Peter 2:3) (Damned is found 3 times; Mark 16:16, Rom 14:23, 2Th 2:12)
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
The Second Estate; Being Reformed
Making the decision to avoid damnation leads to the second estate of being reformed.
Leviticus 26:23-24 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
Roadblocks to reformation can be in the a soul returning to a former state, (to not think from God but from self. Illness where one can not rationalize. Bodily illness not in a state for freedom. A state of blindness of understanding truths, or God closes their eyes.
The Greek word for reformed is; H3256 יָסַר A primitive root; to chastise, literally (with blows) or figuratively (with words); hence to instruct: – bind, chasten, chastise, correct, instruct, punish, reform, reprove, sore, teach.
The English definition of reformed is to be caused to abandon an evil manner of living and follow a good one.
Man’s Third Estate; Regeneration
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Regeneration in the Greek Text;G3824 παλιγγενεσία From G3825 and G1078; (spiritual) rebirth (the state or the act), that is, (figuratively) spiritual renovation; specifically Messianic restoration: – regeneration. G3825 πάλιν Probably from the same as G3823 (through the idea of oscillatory repetition); (adverbially) anew, that is, (of place) back, (of time) once more, or (conjugationally) furthermore or on the other hand: – again.
We can see that the regeneration process is in the same sense going from damnation to reformation previously discussed.
Going from the physical material world in their walk with God to the deeper spiritual relationship that takes “heaven” within us to that higher estate.
It begins when a man desists from evils as sins, progresses as he shuns them, and is perfected as he battles against them.
But he becomes spiritual only in the measure in which he is in truths. Everyone is regenerated by means of truths and of a life in accord with them; by truths he knows life and by his life he does the truths.
Ecc 7:25 I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:
(See Also; Ecc 1:13-17, Ecc 2:1-3, Ecc 2:12)
Reason in the Greek; H2808 חֶשְׁבּוֹן From H2803; properly contrivance; by implication intelligence: – account, device, reason. H2803 חָשַׁב A primitive root; properly to plait or interpenetrate, that is, (literally) to weave or (generally) to fabricate; figuratively to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense); hence (from the mental effort) to think, regard, value, compute.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Rom 8:20-22 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Reasoning in the English definition is;
The process of thinking about something in order to make a decision. Reasoning is a basic action of thinking in a sensible and rational way about something.
Examples of NOT having reasoning. Not having reasoning would also include not wanting to search and seek out wisdom. When a soul is stuck in a “place” and there is no growth, becoming complacient is living in death.
Reason #1: I have but one life to get this right. Not to mention those poor souls that have not had it as good as me. What did they do wrong? The aborted baby…..why can’t it be me. The thinking is the baby is in heaven? I don’t see “fairness” in that thinking. Simple reasoning.
Reason #2: Next, It’s all on me, but the truth according to scriptures is the ONLY thing I can do is have the willingness to want to learn how to live life with the goal of living a heavenly life through love. Humankind does not understand that ALL is through God, our Lord, and the Holy Spirit. His way, His time, His adjustments to a souls life.
Reason #3: Not understanding “representations” and how they apply to my soul. Satan being a representation of evil. How can I think that after this current awareness of this life that someone or something else is responsible for my own personal evils? Standing in front of Christ on judgement day and saying, oh Lord, how can I be responsible for the evils Satan has infused into my world?
Reason #4: I see what I see and judge accordingly and not understanding that every soul is in their own place, in their own eternity, and God will not destroy or condemn even one soul.
Reason #5: Having the mindset that “heaven” has to be done in this current awareness is also vanity. An eternal soul grows by way of experiences to overcome shortcomings, evils, errors, and mistakes which we ultimately learn from. Therefore, condemnation from God makes no sense as the negative part of the Plan is actually positive if there is a progression in living a life from a love aspect.
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Kingdom in the Greek Text;
G932 βασιλεία From G935; properly royalty, that is, (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively). G935 βασιλεύς Probably from G939 (through the notion of a foundation of power); a sovereign (abstractly, relatively or figuratively).
Heaven in the Greek Text;
G3772 οὐρανός Perhaps from the same as G3735 (through the idea of elevation); the sky; by extension heaven (as the abode of God); by implication happiness, power, eternity; specifically the Gospel (Christianity).
Luke 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
If a soul has received the kingdom, is the soul not “in heaven” in relationship to the souls degree of evil verses love-faith?
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
The nobleman in Luke 19:12, receiving the kingdom, the kingdom being God, (royalty), ruling the “realm”, (heaven). Heaven specifically is the Gospel. The Gospel, or Word being God Himself. So where is heaven, or to what degree of heaven is within?
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Location…..Location…….Location!
Deu 30:11-14 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Some standing here, (on this earth), shall not taste death until the see the Son of man, (Jesus) coming into his, (the some standing here), kingdom.
Death can only be in the flesh.
Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Rom 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
The keys to the kingdom of heaven are bound or loose on earth. Therefore, heaven on earth is within the soul. To take it further, manifested by way of your 6 senses. 6th being your power of the perception of your mind. (Coming from your inner-higher self).
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
If you follow Jesus, your treasure in heaven is your heaven within. How much heaven do you want? Your perception, understanding, and truths within your soul make that determination. How you understand the concept of goodness-negativity, love for your neighbor, and progression of life’s experiences that bring more of heaven than hell within. “Follow” in the Greek is to accompany, properly, to be in the same way with.
Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
From this verse it is shown that the Word of God shall not pass away, but heaven and earth being IN THE SOUL can pass away.
Eph 4:8-10 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Hell in the Greek;
G1067 γέεννα Of Hebrew origin ([H1516] and [H2011]); valley of (the son of) Hinnom; gehenna (or Ge-Hinnom), a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment: – hell.
The reference to hell in Mat 10:28 is a physical place as well as a state of mind.
Mark 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
From these two verses, everlasting punishment is a “state of being”. Hard to believe that a missing eye and hand is anything physical. It can only be from the soul.
Act 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Act 2:25-27 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Psa 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
How can the soul be delivered from the lowest hell, to obtain mercy, if hell is not within?
Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Ask yourself, who is the “him”?
Mark 8:18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
Jesus is the way of life, and life itself. Jesus is a process of life, whereby His teachings were by example. Whereby His teachings, should be learning and practices. Teachings whereby the acquisition of that knowledge, is implemented through thoughts-experiences.
Lip service, praise, and the like, the adjectives of religion, have no substance. A lamp without oil, a candle without a flame.
The complete Word, Bible, teaching, are summed up by these scriptures.
Mat 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Love is life, Jesus, and God His self. Because love is life, and is the “way.” That love begins with every thought from the mind…..period. Every thought-action, performed-fulfilled by the flesh, is the way…..period. It is not a religion of one or two, but a religion of all. A reverence for the Oneness of Creation, because Creation is of One, from One, and only One. Humankind is of that One.
There is no duality in His way of life. No yin and yang, good and evil, plus or minus, light or dark, unity or division. To go as far as saying, right or wrong, because duality is of the world, and not of God. It’s all in understanding how to comprehend and implement Jesus as that way of life. Any thought process outside of love, is a lack of understanding the process of how life actually works. The degree of, and/or, the lack of faith, and trust for that process. The work of the soul is an understanding of that process by living in peace, the joy of life in the love of everything. Anything less than that, is a work in progress, which is the working of a soul, through one’s own personal eternity, with one’s own personal relationship with our Lord that is eternal for all.
Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
(See Also; Rom 2:29, Rom 7:22, 2Co 4:16, 1Peter 3:4)
Inner man, creation of the spirit-soul:
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Perfectly created spirit-soul.
The Word is life:

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Rom 8:11-13 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
