Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mark 14:34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
Sorrowful from the Greek is;
Grieved all around, that is intensely sad; exceeding (very) sorry.
Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Luke 6:37-40 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Lived as a man, not understanding, but knowing what his purpose was The powers Christ had, all souls have provided they gave the faith. Ie move mountains
Jesus sinning? If the flesh is corrupt The but……thing doesn’t fly
Mustard seed faith
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Judgement verses concerning Christ and God
Judging ones Self is understanding and learning from the errors and mistakes and not to be in repetition.
John 8:10-11 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Condemn from the Greek; G2632 κατακρίνω From G2596 and G2919; to judge against, that is, sentence: – condemn, damn. G2919 κρίνω Properly to distinguish, that is, decide (mentally or judicially); by implication to try, condemn, punish: – avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.
Mark 6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Knowledge To Wisdom. A Guide To Becoming Spiritual.
Believe it or not, living spiritually is easier than you think. Why? Because your spirit is replacing your mind that loves being a god. Being a god is too much work!
Spirituality is a growth process. Mistakes are always made, but by your awareness of a couple crucial understandings, progress is made by living with less negativities, and understanding that God has total control over all of creation, although virtually nobody thinks so.
1) By understanding that sin, evil, negativity, and iniquities have their purpose, there is no need for judgement. Period. Therefore, slowly change your mindset to neutralize any thoughts other then from your understanding whatever it is, is supposed to happen for in the end, it’s for the greater good. God’s plan is perfect and yours is not. 2) All actions, words, and thoughts need to be processed with the awareness from a love aspect and nothing else. If that can not be done, simply let it go and revert back to neutralizing the thoughts and let it go. 3) Understand that you are a perfectly created spirit from God. God is in you, and you are in him. Your spirit has been placed in a flesh body to live from your self in total freedom. To live with choices that determine your heaven and hell within your own individual self with the uniqueness of mind in a one on one relationship with God. Everyone else has the same relationship in their own way. Respect it. 4) The connection between your spirit and the rest of creation is like this; love your neighbor as your self, forgive your self and your neighbor. Once that is accomplished, live right now as if everything was anew. You in whatever way, to whatever depth, are not the same person you were yesterday. Neither is your neighbor.
As you master the above, you will find more freedom within your mind and heart. You actually feel like a lighter person because your living from the light and not from the dense darkness. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit has total control. Your awareness in living comes from within that perfectly created spirit right through the flawed flesh mind-ego-god perspective. After all, you didn’t create anything, nor can you create anything.
Rev 22:13 I amAlpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
I am from the Greek;
G1510 εἰμί First person singular present indicative; a prolonged form of a primary and defective verb; I exist (used only when emphatic): – am, have been, X it is I, was.
“I am” simply stating that God exists and has always existed.
Rev 1:11a Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;
Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev 1:8 I amAlpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Two distinctions here; 1) Alpha and Omega, (2) beginning and the end, and the first and the last.
Also note; “which is, and which was, and which is to come.” Referencing time past, present, future. The world.God in the flesh, Jesus.
Alpha from the Greek;
G1 Α Of Hebrew origin; the first letter of the alphabet: figuratively only (from its use as a numeral) the first.
Omega from the Greek;
G5598 Ω The last letter of the Greek alphabet, that is, (figuratively) the finality.
Reference to the alphabet. Being the Word as God is the Word. A spiritual perspective.
God being the Alpha and Omega. God has always existed. He has no beginning and end. Beginning, ending, first, last, is in reference to the world within time. His created spirit-souls which are of him, in him, by him, and live through him.
Beginning in the Greek;
G746 ἀρχή From G756; (properly abstract) a commencement, or (concrete) chief (in various applications of order, time, place or rank): – beginning, corner, (at the, the) first (estate), magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule.
First in the Greek;
G4413 πρῶτος Contracted superlative of G4253; foremost (in time, place, order or importance): – before, beginning, best, chief (-est), first (of all), former.
Showing God to be the beginning, creation, the first estate, references to;
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Matthew 19:4 states the beginning he made them male and female. Created souls. If God is the beginning and the first, then who are the angels?
Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Ending in the Greek;
G5056 τέλος From a primary word τέλλωtellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose).
The only end can be from the flesh. Creation is eternal. Ending is the representation of death in the flesh from a life separated from love.
Last in the Greek; G2078 ἔσχατος A superlative probably from G2192 (in the sense of contiguity); farthest, final (of place or time): – ends of, last, latter end, lowest, uttermost.
God states he IS Creation.
Rev 1:17-18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
Mat 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(See Also; Rom 8:5-6, Rom 8:13)
Gal 5:16-18 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
These two verses point out that there is a duality within humankind. Your perfectly created spirit, birthed into a flesh mind body. Born into what is not from your perfectly created spiritual spirit-self but a mind of the weak flesh world.
The flesh is born and living from the perspectivesof fears, negativity, separation, ego, feelings, and judgement. These things are not who you are but are experiences that are lived by choice. Although choice is not realized until the truth sets you free. Acceptedworldly ways and understandingthrough yourfreewill.
You are what you believe you are. You relate to your worldly beliefs and teachings because they are seen, alive, formulated by consciousness from within your current awareness. Exploited by your senses if so manifested.
You are not living from yourunseen spiritual selfthat scripture teaches.
Two examples of backward earthly teachings that are completely opposite from the truth;
*You don’t live from your flesh mind-body to seek the spiritual life that scriptures teaches. You live thinking from the awareness of your true spiritual self first. The Word is within you. Not the other way around as you have been taught.
The scriptures are within you and your just accessing them from your higher spiritual self through the flesh-mind-body which is weak and has no understanding.
*The second example of backwardness is the world, (which includes western religion), that teaches there is a separation from the Godhead and creation, and through your thoughts and actions you go to God by way of obedience. Then God will be with you.
Scriptures clearly teach everything is from one and there is no separation. That one being God. Whatever has the appearance of any disconnection is clearly a miss-understanding.
Any thing outside of goodness-love, i.e.evil, sin, iniquity, is a manifestation of the flesh and simply does not exist, or can be seen as a necessary part of the Plan insuring free will for creation.
Example; A soul has the choice in believing in aliens and UFO’s. If one chooses to believe they do not exist, they don’t exist. You can choose to believe in them, but in just a fleeting thought given no true credibility within that consciousness.
The same is in all that is in opposite of love. If a soul surrounds his thoughts and beliefs around negativity, negativity will be with him because the soul has chosen to believe in it in whatever degree. There is a balance of opposing thoughts. Where is your balance at?
If the spirit is willing, the soul will not conform to the world. Conforming to the world is living through those flesh experiences from the flesh and not the spirit.
Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Be ye transformed. Retrain your brain from the false teachings of the world.
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Search your heart for the truth.
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Pro 2:1-6 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
NOTE: When the wisdom and truth become known, when understanding is found, not only does one learn to live in the light and not the darkness, one will find the flesh life teachings are for the most part completely opposite of the truths set forth by the Word. Truths of the world are not the truths of life.
Understanding the Word and how to live in the world first stems from the teachings of Jesus, not the world. how to live through it and not in it, when you remove the false teachings of life from the worldly perspective.
Jer 50:24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.
Begin withawarenessin controlling fears, negativity, separation, ego, feelings, and judgement. All from your outer-self-flesh world.
Jer 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Fear of God and fear of man are a lack of understanding that God is not in control.
Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Pro 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Negativity-evils are a product of the world, and again, a lack of understanding in God’s perfect plan.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Separation does not exist. The world teaches to grow, learn, practice, ways to be joined to one another. This includes the appearance of separation from God. Ego is a false sense of security. Feelings, and judgement are the mindset of oneself as a god. A false
Neutralize and eliminate all negative thoughts. Envision the positive over and over. Thought becomes the experience. Visualization.Visualize the process to the end result.Acknowledging negativity without understanding.
With all the positives and the negatives. All the loves and all the evils. Self doubtcomplete with fears and feelings. From the ego spurs judgement. Judgement introduces separation.
All from your outer flesh self. Allfrom a world that teaches you the truths of the earth and not of God.
Scriptures state life is only from love, therefore anything outside of love is death.
Fears stem from the ego’s flesh mindset ofself preservation.
Understanding how to “see” this world from the spiritual perspective is like saying;
I care about what I see in the world but I trust and understand its purpose under the control of God. I need not have to judge anything because everything no matter what I see has purpose to the end being of goodness. No need to question anothers beliefs, actions, understanding in anything because the soul has an eternity of life experiences lived by their own free will, not mine.
You care, but you don’t care. You left behind the ego, fears, doubts, judgements, and separations because you now understand your part in the oneness of creation in and from God.
The little g god in you is gone because there is only one God.
Mat 16:18-19 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Jesus establishes the church upon the rock of Peter. Also giving him the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
Peters Faith.
Mat 14:27-31 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Now we have Jesus asking Peter why he doubted and has little faith.
Peters Denial.
Mat 26:33-35 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
John 18:15-18 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
Now Peter is denying he is one of the Lord’s disciples!
Jesus calling Peter a Satan.
Mat 16:21-23 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Peter is a Satan?
Peter sleeping; Representing the lack of awareness that leads into temptation.
Mat 26:36-45 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Peters Nakedness.
John 21:1-4 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
John 21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
What is the spiritual meaning behind Peters nakedness mean to you? He was naked in front of others until he learned it was Jesus standing on the shore.
What is meant by him casting his self into the sea?
Peter And The Sword.
John 18:10-11 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
(See Also; Mat 26:51-52, Mark 14:47)
Jesus explaining what Peter must do.
John 21:15-19 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
Lambs are indicative of babies in Christ. The teachings and learning of salvation and baptism. Lambs being of full age, are living by example sharing wisdom and knowledge from their perspective to aid in the growth towards a life of more goodness then iniquity.
Are you a Peter? Are you a lamb or a sheep? Are you a disciple of Christ?
Following Jesus is no more than living by his teachings. The two greatest commandments. Set by example.
The church established by Jesus through Peter. Then Jesus states; Peters faith has been doubted. Peter denies being a disciple of Jesus. Jesus calls Peter a Satan. Peter is caught sleeping and prone to temptation. Then Peter wacks off an ear of a high priest!
And finally, Jesus had to explain what Peter must do in his ministry.
Sacrifice in the Hebrew is; H2076 זָבַח A primitive root; to slaughter an animal (usually in sacrifice): – kill, offer, (do) sacrifice, slay.
Exo 5:17 But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.
Sacrifice for forgiveness. A worldly way. Old Testament burnt offerings for forgiveness.
Sacrifice in the New Testament is in 23 verses.
Sacrifice in the Greek is; G2378 θυσία From G2380; sacrifice (the act or the victim, literally or figuratively): – sacrifice.
Jesus mentions sacrifice in only 3 verses in the New Testament. Burnt offerings are comparative to Jesus. Jesus now being the sacrificial lamb, the victim from acts.
Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Mercy over ritual sacrifice. Jesus being the sacrifice for sinners. Jesus did not condemn anyone. Jesus being God in the flesh, (big G), and humankind condemning because he is a god. (a little g) If Jesus didn’t condemn, and He is God in the flesh, why would the thinking be that God in heaven condemns? Note; There is only ONE God.
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Compassionate actions and avoidance of repetitive evils. Repetitive evils are no more then lip service. Progressively working towards goodnesses and avoidance of those iniquities. Less judgement, less self-centering ego. Simple understanding living from love being life, through experiences, growing deeper into that love.
Implement to action, do like Jesus does. The “what would Jesus do” is no more then smoke rising up to the sky. You know Jesus by simply searching the truth from your heart and soul. Live by growing towards that balance of your heavens in your life, out-weighting your hells. Living life by the souls choice. Choosing is a personal choice and hells is brought upon one’s own self.
Mark 9:49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
The spiritual offerings of Jesus by way of the cross. The end being one of refinement, strengthening by spiritual fire, and the salt being purification and preservation. Spiritual offerings by the act of faith if there is true repentance and not being one of repetitive negative actions.
Another words…..Quit hanging Jesus on the cross over and over again because you can.
The salt of the soul being genuine and pure in heart.
Church is found in the New Testament 79 times. None in the Old Testament.
Jesus mentions the church in only two verses, Mat 16:18, and 18:17. (7 verses in Revelations)
Church in the Greek;
G1577 ἐκκλησία From a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564; a calling out, that is, (concretely) a popular meeting, especially a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Christian community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both): – assembly, church.
1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Jesus Christ IS the church, He is calling out. Your church begins with Jesus. You as an individual, building upon your church through your personal relationship with Jesus and Father God.
The basis of the truth begins with Jesus and what he taught and how he lived. Begin with the red letters of the bible. Divisions begin going outside of the teachings of Jesus. The teachings of Jesus needs no interpretation because of the simplicity of what is needed to understand how to live and be kept in a “salvation” life.
Jesus taught from the spiritual aspect of church. Jesus had his focus on love being the basis of how to live life. All things can be determined by asking oneself, is this thinking, or is this action done with and through love?
Teachings and traditions created without first applying the base principle of love, is futile.
1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Carnally speaking, the church is a physical building. The church is for edifying from love one to another. To build upon the understanding and growth from love with like minds.
James says;
James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Paul has much to say in 1Ti 3:1-16.
Mark 7:6-13 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Promise from the Greek;
G1860 ἐπαγγελία From G1861; an announcement (for information, assent or pledge; especially a divine assurance of good).
The promise of life and divine assurance of good.
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
You knew of this promise from within your spiritual self, prior to your worlds eternal bodies.
2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
2Ti 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Slack, slackness in the Greek;
G1022 βραδύτης From G1021; tardiness: – slackness. G1021 βραδύς Of uncertain affinity; slow; figuratively dull: – slow.
Longsuffering in the Greek;
G3114 μακροθυμέω From the same as G3116; to be long spirited, that is, (objectively) forbearing or (subjectively) patient: – bear (suffer) long, be longsuffering, have (long) patience, be patient, patiently endure.
The slackness of man being “slow”, and God does not count slackness because of his longsuffering toward souls so that not any will perish.
1John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

The promise, inheritance, grace, mercy, all being the love of God, is eternal. What is not eternal is a soul wanting to live life in his own deaths. A freewill choice. Or quite possibly according to Hebrews 9:15 stated above, “they which are called”. All at some point in eternity, all will be called. Eternal death is not in the Bible. Death can only be referenced from a soul within a body that chooses death in experiences throughout eternal lives.
Vanity is found in 79 verses in the Bible. 3 of which are in the New Testament.
Rom 8:19-21 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
(See Also Eph 4:17, 2Peter 2:18)
Vanity in the Greek is; G3153 ματαιότης From G3152; inutility; figuratively transientness; morally depravity. G3152 μάταιος From the base of G3155; empty, that is, (literally) profitless, or (specifically) an idol.
Vanity is inutility, being useless or unusable. Transient, being morally deprived, empty.
Ecc 1:1-4 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
Ecc 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Solomon states that all is vanity. Paul states we were made subject to vanity, but also to be delivered from corruption. Vexation of the spirit is a feeding upon or grasping after. A spirit with affliction, a troubling spirit. Experiences are what make up life. Lifeliving to choose either goodnesses or evils until we have overcome repetitive evils and understand how true life is, which is a life of total love.
Psalms 94:11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
The only way vanity can be understood is because “the creature itself also shall be delivered”, so all would have to be vanity.
What have you gained from the world through your life experiences that you can attribute to growth in your relationship with God, or better said, through your learning to live a life by way of the two greatest commandments? (See Mat 22:36-40)
When a soul understands the difference between the flesh heart-mind, which is “under the sun”, and the spirit-soul that is from above the sun, the following verses make total sense.
The duality of humankind to live life enjoying flesh experiences, and to live by the laws of God which in its simplicity is life, which is love, and by living by that premise.
Ecc 1:9-10 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
Ecc 1:3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
Ecc 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Ecc 2:17 Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Ecc 2:22-23 For what hath man of all his labour, and of the vexation of his heart, wherein he hath laboured under the sun? For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.
Ecc 2:11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
Vexation in the Hebrew; H7469 רְעוּת Probably from H7462; a feeding upon, that is, grasping after. H7462 רָעָה A primitive root; to tend a flock, that is, pasture it; intransitively to graze (literally or figuratively); generally to rule; by extension to associate with (as a friend).
Vexation meaning to grasp after the tangible things of the flesh, as well includes the inflated ego which are things of the heart-mind. A hindrance to the soul that strives to live by it’s created spirit and not the formed flesh-heart-mind.
