  • Confidence

  • Out Of The Box

    Out Of The Box

    Because we have the appearance of being separated from creation living an awareness from this flesh perspective, thinking is within a box. Humankind has everything in the box including God.

    The flesh sees a starting point, and an ending point.

    Understanding eternal where there is no beginning and no end, the thinking must come from out of the box. From the eternal perspective, the inner self, the spirit that was created from the One God, the I AM, there is no box.

    Since God is alive and eternal, everything is alive and eternal. Not one earth, but millions, not just one universe, but millions. Not just one life, but millions. How can you put a number on anything when it is eternal?

    Examples;

    Gen 22:17  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

    Heb 11:12  Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.

    Jer 33:22  As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

    (See Also; Gen 15:5, 22:17, 26:4, 32:12, Jdg 7:12, Hos 1:10, Rom 9:27)

    Because God is everything, His spirit, His holy spirit-His consciousness, lives through all of creation because all is One.

    Every thought from His creation on an individual basis has infinite possibilities to become a reality or a manifestation through senses from a flesh, spiritual, a combination thereof, or any other possible infinite ways for an existence. That is free will and life from His Creation.

  • Ye Are Sealed With Everlasting Life

    Ye Are Sealed With Everlasting Life

    John 6:27
    Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

    Sealed from the Greek:

    G4973 σφραγίζω; to stamp (with a signet or private mark) for security or preservation (literally or figuratively); by implication to keep secret to attest: – (set a set to) seal up stop. G4973 σφραγίς Probably strengthened from G5420; a signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation); by implication the stamp impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), literally or figuratively: – seal.

    Heb 5:12-14  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

    (See Also; Acts 7:38, Rom 3:2, 1Peter 2:2)

    The oracles of God are simply the Word of God. Milk is a representation of the beginnings of understanding the Word. Milk is salvation and baptism. Meat is in understanding and living by the oracles of God which is “life endurething unto everlasting life.”

    Everlasting life

    Luke 18:30  Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

    1Ti 4:8  For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

    Rom 6:21-23  What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Life everlasting is not living death in this life. Will you live in death “in the world to come?” Will you wait for your promise until your life “which is to come.”Salvation is a process. Salvation is an ongoing experience in life that is compromised by the balance of goodness and the negativities that a soul feels it ought not to do. Salvation is eternal and living from your eternal life, life to life.The belief in one flesh existence, scriptures have no basis of understanding because the soul is eternal, the soul has salvation, and the soul is sealed.

    Mark 13:13  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

    (See Also; Mat 10:22, 24:13, Rom 2:7, Heb 3:14)

    Where is the “end”, if there is everlasting life, worlds to come, with all souls being “sealed” ? Unless you believe your end is this current existence…….

  • Understanding Love

    Understanding Love

    Mark 12:30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

    Love is found in the bible in 281 verses.

    Definition of love from the Greek;

    G25 ἀγαπάω – Perhaps from (much; or compare [H5689]); to love (in a social or moral sense). Compare G5368. G5368 From G5384; to be a friend to (fond of [an individual or an object]), that is, have affection for (denoting personal attachment, as a matter of sentiment or feeling; while G25 is wider, embracing especially the judgment and the deliberate assent of the will as a matter of principle, duty and propriety: the two thus stand related very much as G2309 and G1014, or as G2372 and G3563 respectively; the former being chiefly of the heart and the latter of the head).

    Definition from the English; Affection based on admiration, benevolence or common interests. unselfish loyal concern for the good of another: such asthe fatherly concern of God for humankind, brotherly concern for others, a person’s adoration of God.

    To be benevolent; Compassionate, respectful, understanding, sympathetic, kind, friendly, nice, gentle, gracious, merciful, thoughtful, good, considerate, warmhearted, pleasant, charitable, noble, neighborly, amicable.

    Opposition to love; Hate, despise, loathe, detest, minimize, abandon, neglect, put down, belittle, bad-mouth, write-off.

    Opposition to benevolent; Cruel, vicious, savage, brutal, heartless, unsympathetic, merciless, thoughtless, uncaring, hard-hearted, insensitive, cold-blooded, mean, spiteful, nasty, unsentimental.

    Pro 10:12  Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

    Eph 3:17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

    1Peter 3:8-11  Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

    NOTE: Charity, which is found only in the New Testament, is referenced in 24 verses. The Greek definition of charity is G25 ἀγαπάω, which is the above definition for love.

    See Charity verses; (1Co 8:1, 13:1-4, 13:8, 13:13, 14:1, 16:14, Col 3:14, 1Th 3:6, 2Th 1:3, 1Ti 1:5, 2:15, 4:12, 2Ti 2:22, 3:10, Titus 2:2, 1Peter 4:8, 5:14, 2Peter 1:7, 3John 1:6, Jude 1:12, Rev 2:19)

  • The Duality Of Humankind

    The Duality Of Humankind

    Your soul-spirit was created with the Word written in your heart. God created you in perfection. The natural man or the outward man began in the Garden of Eden where you were “formed.” Thus creating a “dualism” between the flesh-mind and the spirit-soul which was created in heaven.

    Jer 31:33  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

    1Co 15:44-45  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

    Sown” in the Hebrew has the meaning “through the idea of extending, to scatter or sow, (literal or figuratively).”

    Quickening” in the Greek is a revitalization. The revitalization is no more than the true spiritual self overcoming the mind-flesh self.

    Adam being the representative of the first created soul of all humankind. Thus humankind being the last man Adam by way of regeneration or being born again.

    Gal 3:3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

    Heb 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

    We discern everything from the flesh mind. To know your higher self even exists, it is constantly in a battle for your thoughts-actions when your higher self awareness is realized.

    First reactions are of the mind-ego and not your true higher self. Knowing your higher self, which is pure love and truth, having the awareness to discern from your mind-thought self, making it easier to discern truth from a lie providing your thinking is from your higher self.

    Scripture makes the distinction of two separate selves numerous times.

    1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

    Jude 1:19  These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

    Rom 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

    2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

    1Peter 3:4  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

    Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

    Christ has not gone anywhere. The flesh masks the appearance of Christ and false teachings from the perspective of there being a separation.

    Pro 8:13  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

    1Sa 2:3  Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

    The ego, being of the outer self or natural body, can be a positive image of oneself or a negative one. It includes positive and negative aspects. The ego contains the individual’s sense of self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem. It has desires such as wealth, prestige, success, and power.

    1John 2:16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

    Arrogance and pride begin from the ego. Your ego is a mental organ that functions in the structure of our personality creating emotions in our lives.

    • It hides behind opinions that have the “appearance” to be in truth.
    • Generates deceptive powerful emotional reactions and blames us or others for how it makes us feel.

    The ego produces a false sense of protection based upon events of the past that establishes an opinion related to future events. A false sense of protection because ego can not predict the future nor establish any basis on an event being in truth. This emotional reaction is not from your spiritual self but rather from your flesh physical mind-brain and can be manifested by your senses into your reality, or simply kept within the mind.

    With your ego not being able to predict the future, and its basis for protection is from the past, how can that be any assurance of correctly seeing a future event?

    If you are “sealed” with the Holy Spirit of God, what is the need for your ego to “protect” you or lead you into false thoughts?

    Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

    Every created soul is no different then the next created soul other then in personality-conscience. God’s love is always the same in any given instance or situation no matter what loves or evils are manifested in the mind or from the senses. God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit has not gone anywhere.

    The understanding is in knowing that Creation has within truth and goodness. All of Creation is linked together and have equal importance no matter what the “mind” thinks and the senses “feel.”

    Think past the weakness of the flesh-mind-ego unto the truth of your created spirit-soul knowing that God did not create some flawed soul that seems to think it needs to protect itself.

    As Jesus said; “and if thou wilt be perfect,” (Eph 4:13) till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”, your mind-brain, your deciding consciousness, is the freedom of choice in “goodness” or “from the error of his way.” (James 5:20)

    Since God is good and love, the closer you get to living this life in that realm, the closer to God you will be balancing heaven or hell within you in your present life. Our perception of what we call reality; life through our interpretation are experiences.

    Awareness through your higher selves consciousness should be your reality in your present “time.” Your created spirit-consciousness is not in time. Time is a construct from your conscious mind-brain.

    And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:15) Is not the kingdom within you? (Luke 17:21)

    Since God’s work is finished, (Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.) The heavens have no time, therefore all is in the present, and since you control your world, your thinking should be from your spirit-soul not your mind-ego.

    Trusting in God’s perfect plan.

    Mat 10:28-31  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

    These verses of Matthew are interesting. Fear not humankind that can kill the body and not able to kill the soul. One of them shall NOT fall on the ground without your Father. Every moment of your eternal existence, God has full knowledge and control.

    The “him” that is able to destroy both soul and body in hell is the self. The “hell” that a soul experiences in the soul living from life to life in the progression to the balance in favor to heaven within.

    Life is an illusion produced by your conscience. Your created reality is consciousness manifested by your senses.

  • Laws Of The Universe

    Laws Of The Universe

    Law of Divine Oneness

    The Law Of Divine Oneness states that everything is connected. Everything in the Universe is an extension of Source energy (God) which means nothing is separate on a spiritual level.

    Rom 12:5  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

    (See Also; 1Co 10:17, 12:12-14, 12:20, 12:27, Eph 5:23, 5:30)

    Law of Correspondence

    The Law of Correspondence states that your external reality is a direct reflection of your internal state.

    2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

    Rom 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

    Your true reality is your internal self-state and should flow through your external self. The correspondence with the inward and outward self.

    Law of Attraction

    The Law of Attraction states that which is like onto itself is drawn. Your energy is constantly attracting things that are a vibrational match for it.

    Mat 12:35  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

    Law of Compensation

    The Law of Compensation states that you reap what you sow. What you give to others shall be given to you. What you without from others shall be withheld from you.

    Job 4:8  Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

    From the spiritual perspective;

    Gal 6:8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

    The same said for negative thinking. Change your negative thinking to positive reactions and thinking and you change your world.

    Law of Cause and Effect

    The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every cause there’s an effect. In life, our thinking is the cause and our experiences are the effect of our thinking.

    Eph 4:29-31  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

    Law of Inspired Action

    The Law of Inspired Action states that inspiration will come about when you are aligned with who you are – an extension of Source. (God)

    John 15:4-5  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

    Php 4:8-9  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

    Law of Rhythm

    The Law of Rhythm states that cycles are a natural part of the universe. Just like the four seasons, your life has seasons too.

    Gen 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

    Growth;

    See the Parable of the sower Mat 13:18-23

    Change;

    Php 3:15  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

    Renewal-Regeneration;

    Isa 40:31  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    Titus 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Law of Polarity

    The Law of Polarity states that everything in life has an opposite. For every problem, there is a solution. For every obstacle, there is an opportunity.

    Ecc 3:1-8  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

    Closing Scripture;

    Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

  • Developing A Truth

    Developing A Truth (Updating; The Wiles Of Satan 1996)

    There is a progression in knowledge-wisdom-truth-understanding in a souls growth from Biblical Scriptures. God works with every soul, on an individual basis, because no two consciences are identical.

    God works one on one, within their understanding of the Word, and the “condition” of the heart. The baseline of truth, is the Word, that is instilled in the spirit-soul. Distinguishing and understanding negative experiences, wisdom is gained by the application of goodness-love in everything.

    Understanding Satan from scriptures from the literal perspective, is the belief that Satan is responsible for sin-evils. Misunderstandings are in the relationship of the flesh, and the eternal salvation of the soul. Taking scriptures from the literal reading, shaping the mind to feelings, a comfort zone, because the flesh-mind believes it can not overcome the wiles of Satan, and/or the flesh-mind chooses not to overcome.

    Satan is a representation of sin-evils, covering all aspects of negativity. Negativity, better known as sin and evil; whereas, each of Satan’s names, being a representation of those evils that are expressed by thought and/or actions by the flesh.

    Satan’s Biblical Names;

    Satan, Dragon, Old Serpent, Devil, Wormwood, Destroyer, Accuser, Tempter, Prince of Power of the Air, Murderer, Power of Darkness, Lying Spirit, Enemy, Belial, Beelzebub, Appolloyn, Abaddon, Adversary.

    See Also; (Rev 20:2, Rev 8:11, Jer 23:15, 1Cor 10:10, Psalms 17:4, Job 15:21, Judges 16:24, Exo 12:23, Rev 12:10, Gen 3:1-5, 1Th 3:5, John 19:33-37, Eph 2:2, Col 1:13, John 8:44, 1King 22:22, Mat 13:39, 2Cor 6:15, Mat 12:24, Rev 9:11, 1Peter 5:8)

    Summarizing the Greek-Hebrew definitions for the names of Satan;

    Satan is the first in order of time, political rank and power, being a fabulous kind of serpent, a poisonous snake. He is an accuser, opponent, sly, cunning, artful, malicious. The arch enemy of good, ready to attack, while his eyes wide open causing calamity. A worthless dung-god, a destroying angel distressed of mind, gratifying completely an intense dislike, disgust, hatred, and abhorrence.

    On the other hand, angels and demons work within the spirit-soul, to keep the soul balanced, so the progression is towards goodness, the ultimate goal, and the promise from God. Thus the balance between heaven and hell, fall upon the soul, and throughout the souls eternity, reaching towards greater truth-goodness-love, which is life.

    Psalms 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

    Luke 12:9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

    Psalms 139:8  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

    (See Also; Mat 4:6, Psalms 91:11-12, Psalms 34:7, Luke 4:9-12, Heb 1:14)

    Each soul is responsible for the condition of their own soul, not Satan. “The devil didn’t make me do it”, or the thinking that souls stand before Christ thinking they do not have total responsibility for their own evil tendencies. Where lying to ones self brings nothing more then judgement upon one’s self.

    Goodness is natural per the Creation of the perfect soul. The flesh entertains evils because of the natural love for it. To blame Satan, is having the mindset in thinking that the soul is overpowered by Satan, and has not, the control to overcome. Thus mindset of the forgiveness of evils are justified, through Jesus over and over. Albeit true, it is the condition of the heart in the repetition of evils, is in fact, the repetition of hanging Christ on the cross over and over.

    1Cor 10:20  But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

    When the understanding of scriptures advances to a deeper understanding, from literal meaning, to a spiritual perspective-understanding, the purpose of sin-evil is seen in a different light.

    According to original Biblical text definitions, sin is an offense. To miss the mark (and so not to share in the prize), that is, (figuratively) to err, especially (morally) to sin. A division.

    Evil is seen as hurtful, anguish, starving, calamitous, (passively) ill, diseased.

    This is not downgrading, or downplaying, sin-evil as much as it is a deeper understanding, to the purposes of sin-evil, and its effects upon the soul. Seeing how the opposite of goodness is necessary in this world for a soul to live in freedom, as well as a tool to learn and grow from those opposites.

    If the god in you feels that there is need to judge, take into consideration that there is only one God. God’s job is done and the god’s of the flesh believe He has no control. Actually, all gods have none understanding.

    Jer 4:22  For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

    How much of a souls beliefs are truth in another persons eyes? Doesn’t matter to you. The heart-soul knows their place with God. Unseen by others. Assuming others know where they stand, this eliminates judgement, and others can simply respect where they are in their ETERNAL walk with the Lord.

    Judgement is infringing upon another, even if the thought is only from the conscience. Judgement begins in the conscience, then possibly advancing into the physical or verbalizing such judgement.

    It’s not about accusing another persons beliefs. Wouldn’t that then be taking away their freedom-free will?

    God doesn’t take away, or interfere with free will, why would any other soul? God has the “appearance” of judging a soul in the present now. Since God knew you, and all of your eternity, prior to living your eternal lives. At Creation, scripture says that His work is finished, as mentioned in Gen 3:5, and from that point, God is simply living through the goodness’s of His Creation. Assume then, from lifes linear time perspective, the appearance is in the now, but judgement was in the past.

    1John 3:11  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

  • Redemption

    Redemption

    Jesus said:

    Luke 21:28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

    Redemption is in the New Testament in 11 verses. Redemption from the Greek Concordance:

    G629 ἀπολύτρωσις From a compound of G575 and G3083; (the act) ransom in full, that is, (figuratively) riddance, or (specifically) Christian salvation: – deliverance, redemption. G3083 λύτρον From G3089; something to loosen with, that is, a redemption price (figuratively atonement): – ransom.

    Rom 3:23-24  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

    Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

    Eph 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

    Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

    Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

    Heb 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

    (See Also; Luke 2:38, Rom 8:23, Heb 9:12)

    ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. ALL are IN Christ. ALL have redemption because redemption was purchased for ALL. By the holy Spirit, ALL are sealed until THEIR DAY OF REDEMPTION. When is their day of redemption? Some “time” in their eternity.

  • Praise, Glory, And Honour

    Praise, Glory, And Honour

    Praise is found in the Bible in 216 verses. 24 of the 216 verses are found in the New Testament.

    Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

    Of the 24 verses, Eph 1:6 and these verses use this next definition: (Rom 2:29, Rom 13:3, 1Co 4:5, 2Co 8:18, Eph 1:12, Eph 1:14, Php 1:11, Php 4:8)

    The definition of praise from the Greek: (G1868) ἔπαινος From G1909 and the base of G134; laudation; concretely a commendable thing: – praise.

    These verses refer to praise used in the sense of laudation or honor. How do you honor God? Obedience. Living in accordance to what you learn and understand. Closing the gap that your flesh has douped you in to thinking you are distant from God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit, but are not.

    John 12:43  For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

    The definition of praise in John 12:43 is:

    Praise from the Greek: (G1391) δόξα From the base of G1380; glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (literally or figuratively, objectively or subjectively): – dignity, glory (-ious), honour, praise, worship.

    Praise, and glory. The word “praise” in this definition is glory. Glory is found in the New Testament in 157 verses.

    With glorybeing the same word as praise, simply not translated into English with the same word inthe KJV. Praise, is acommendable thing”, referring to something that was acted upon or performed by someone. Not just a thought, but is fulfilled by actions that is expressing glory to the Lord.

    Jesus uses the word honour in the gospels. Honour found in 50 NT verses.

    Mat 19:19  Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

    Honour in the Greek: (G5091) τιμάω From G5093; to prize, that is, fix a valuation upon; by implication to revere: – honour, value.

    For humankind to have praise for God means having honor. Having honor is having respect and recognition which is shown through from thoughts to actions-behavior. Praise, glory, and honour, if it is followed through by obedience, is having reverence for the Lord.
